Update from your Member of Provincial Parliament regarding COVID-19
Change needs to happen
This week, I began the first of many requests to the provincial government to bring changes to the systematic racism that exist across Ontario. In recent days, I have seen incredibly troubling images from the United States and also inspiring, peaceful protests by activists in the US, in Canada and around the world. To see my letter with Michael Coteau (MPP for Don Valley East) click here. On Friday, I participated in the solidarity march for George Floyd.

Local Updates for Ottawa-Vanier
Despite not being able to go to BBQ’s and community association events, I still want to find a way to connect with you and all residents in the riding. This week I had meetings with Seniors Homes and Students and if you want to reach out to meet with me, send me an email (lcollard.mpp.co@liberal.ola.org)!
Town Halls
Our series of Town Halls continue and we had two this week! if you missed them and wanted to see what your elected officials had to say on the ongoing situation click here for the Vanier/Overbrook communities and here for the Pineview town hall. Next week, we will be hosting a town hall for the Lowertown community, sign up here. These town halls are coordinated with your local associations and all this collaboration is a really great way to work together.
