Update from your Member of Provincial Parliament
Hi there!
Ottawa has seen some big changes in the past two weeks, so I wanted to share some of that news with you!
Starting today, nearly all businesses and public spaces can reopen with some restrictions. This is us moving into Stage 3 of our province reopening while maintaining gathering restrictions:
- Indoor gathering limits have increased to a maximum of 50 people;
- Outdoor gathering limits have increased to a maximum of 100 people;
- Gathering limits are subject to physical distancing requirements.
For more clarification on what Stage 3 means for us, you can read more here.
This is big news, so let’s not forget that face masks are now mandatory in public indoor spaces within Ottawa. We can support our local businesses and enjoy our community while keeping each other safe. If you need a face mask, the city has put together a list of vendors that is a great resource.
Speaking of which, our local businesses need our support through these difficult times. You can make a direct difference for the businesses that bring our communities together.
What local business or restaurant have you supported recently? If you have any other ideas on how we can support our community, I’d love to hear from you!
Have a great weekend,
Lucille
